13,276 New Cases of COVID-19 in Ukraine

According to the message of the Minister of Health of Ukraine Maxim Stepanov, in Ukraine, there were already 1.769 million cases of coronavirus COVID-19, the daily increase for April 5 – 13.2 thousand, an increase over the previous day. The high rate of fatalities per day – 430.

“13,276 new cases of coronavirus COVID-19 have been recorded in Ukraine as of April 6, 2021,” Stepanov said.

Also for the past day:

hospitalized – 2,545 people;

fatalities – 430;

recovered – 10,240 people;

tested per day – 91,978 (including PCR – 41,512, ELISA – 21,279, rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 29,187).

During the whole pandemic in Ukraine:

fell ill – 1,769,164 people;

recovered – 1,362,379 people;

fatalities – 35,017;

PCR tests were performed – 8,397,586.

In particular, 508 children and 338 health workers fell ill last day.

Over the past 24hrs, the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in Odesa (1,436), Kyiv (1,432), Lviv (1,105), Kyiv (889), and Kharkiv (878) oblasts.

Over the past 24hrs, 12,856 people have been vaccinated against COVID-19 in Ukraine. Vaccination was carried out by 132 mobile immunization teams and 619 vaccination points. 304,680 people have been vaccinated since the beginning of the vaccination campaign, 304,678 of them received 1 dose, 2 people completed the vaccination (received 2 doses). As of April 5, 2021, 413,561 people had signed up for the COVID-19 vaccination waiting list.
