In Ukraine, 2.213 million cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 have already been recorded, an increase over the day on June 4 – almost 1.9 thousand, which is less than the previous day. Thus lethal cases for days again are less, than the day before – 86. This is reported by the data from the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

For the past 24hrs, on June 4, 1,897 new cases of COVID-19 were detected in Ukraine. Among the new patients are 91 children and 65 nurses. Also, 8,330 patients recovered, and 86 died from complications. 1,065 people were hospitalized with a suspected or confirmed diagnosis.
The day before, COVID-19 was diagnosed in 2,266 people. The number of those who recovered in a day far exceeds the number of patients. This trend is observed for more than 1.5 months.
Over the past 24hrs, the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in Kyiv (497), Kyiv (160), Zaporizhia (138), Dnipropetrovsk (128), and Kharkiv (116) oblasts.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, we have recorded 2,213,580 cases of coronavirus infection. Of these, 51,140 people died from complications of the disease, and 2,088,712 recovered. Today, 73,728 Ukrainians are ill – 6,519 less than last day.
According to the Worldometers website, Ukraine ranks 30th in the world in terms of the number of new infections and 8th in Europe.
Coronavirus test in Ukraine:
Laboratories performed 29,061 tests for coronavirus by PCR, 12,048 tests by ELISA. They also performed 19,312 rapid tests for the antigen to the virus. In total, more than 10.3 million PCR tests were conducted in the country.
