President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy appointed Vasyl Khoma as head of the Sumy Regional State Administration.
The corresponding decree No. 509/2020 was signed by the Head of State on November 23, 2020, according to the Office of the President of Ukraine.
According to the Office of the President, Homa was born in 1966. Has a higher education. In 1994, he graduated with honors from the Kharkov Law Institute.
Foma is a former deputy chairman of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, where he worked with Mikhail Dobkin. He was also deputy chairman of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration Igor Baluta. Since 2010, he headed the regional state administration office and was the deputy head of the Kharkiv cell of the “Party of Regions” Viktor Yanukovych. In 2014, Khoma resigned. Khoma could have come under the lustration law, but he filed a letter of resignation before the law came into force.
Khoma is the ultimate beneficiary of Kharkov Regional Wholesale Market of Agricultural Products LLC, the director of which is Irina Khoma.
According to the declaration, Khoma and his wife own 50 land plots with a total area of 92.6 hectares in the Kharkiv region, of which 47 are owned by his wife. All plots were acquired between 2005 and 2017.
Khoma is the owner of a 342 sq. m in the village of Pesochin, Kharkov region, and his wife owns an apartment of 65 sq. m in Kharkov.

also declared 7 units of hunting and other weapons purchased in the period from 2015 to 2019. Khoma’s declaration lists three hours of more than UAH 2 million and four cars worth almost UAH 3.2 million, and one forklift.
Khoma declared that he received a salary for the year in the amount of UAH 161 thousand, income from the alienation of movable property and securities amounted to UAH 2.68 million. Khoma’s wife received a salary of 90 thousand UAH.
Thomas has 659 euros in his bank account. He also has 457 thousand euros in cash, 4 million UAH, 234 thousand dollars. Khoma is the ultimate beneficial owner of 8 firms in Kharkiv and Kharkiv region.
