Earlier, the French authorities canceled the order for the supply of antiviral drug “Molnupiravir” from Merck & Co due to the fact that the new test results showed low efficiency. It was noted that data from clinical trials of Molnupiravir indicate that it reduces the number of hospitalizations and deaths for people at risk by only 30%.
In Ukraine, the drug was not abandoned. And this is not the first time.
US pharmaceutical giants Merck and Pfizer have announced encouraging results for oral coronavirus drugs. Merck’s Molnupiravir has already been approved in the United Kingdom.
