Thus, in 2020, 9,715 cases of oncological diseases were registered in Dnipropetrovsk region, and 9,477 cases in Kyiv. However, women see doctors more often than men, said Maxim Yermakov, a clinical oncologist at the Israeli Oncology Hospital LISOD.
“Perhaps this is due to the fact that Ukrainian women traditionally care more about their health and the health of relatives. After all, according to WHO world statistics, cancer in men is about 15% more common than in women.” , – he emphasized.
