Earlier, the head of the ruling Georgian Dream party, Irakli Kobakhidze, said the Georgian government would apply to join the European Union on March 3.
On February 28, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi asked the European Union to admit Ukraine to the EU under a new, “special” procedure, and later signed an application for state membership in the European Union.
