Since the beginning of the war, the Russian occupiers have destroyed 9 hospitals and killed six medics, injuring 16 more. The Minister of Health of Ukraine Viktor Lyashko said this at a briefing on Monday .

“During this period (since the beginning of the war – ed.) Russian soldiers who are terrorists in our country in violation of all existing conventions, including the Geneva Convention, carried out attacks on civilian objects, attacked houses with a red cross, ie. at the hospital. 135 hospitals were shelled, 9 hospitals were destroyed and they can no longer be rebuilt, new hospitals need to be built in their place. 43 ambulances were fired on, 6 medical workers were killed and 16 were injured, ”Lyashko said.

The Minister of Health also told how the emergency medical team was taken hostage.
