Parliamentarians from 13 countries called for a renewal of Ukraine’s air defense. The statement was signed by deputies from the parliaments of the United States, Great Britain, France, Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Georgia, Ireland, the Netherlands and Sweden, Verkhovna Rada Speaker Ruslan Stefanchuk said on Facebook.

Stefanchuk added that representatives of various countries around the world demand decisive action to establish peace in Ukraine. Namely:
To support the military and civil defense of Ukraine – to ensure the protection of airspace and to stop the movement of enemy equipment on the territory of Ukraine. This can be done by supplying anti-tank and anti-aircraft weapons.
Provide humanitarian assistance – ensure the delivery of food and medicine to Ukrainian cities that are shelled and bombed; rescue the wounded and refugees.
Protect Ukraine’s nuclear facilities, which pose a threat to all neighboring states. It is important that Russia recognizes its responsibility to comply with the Geneva Conventions.
Stefanchuk, who published the text of this statement, expressed his sincere gratitude to his colleagues for supporting Ukraine in this difficult time.
