Ukrainian border guard from Snake Island, author of the legendary phrase about the “Russian warship” Roman Gribov returned from captivity in Cherkasy region. The head of the Cherkasy Regional State Administration Ihor Taburets wrote about this on his Facebook page .

The Ukrainian Navy later reported that Ukrainian servicemen from Snake Island were alive and in Russian captivity.
Ukraine has announced its intention to exchange its defenders.
