According to the IOM, more than 50% of displaced households have children, 57% – the elderly, 30% – people with chronic diseases.
More than a third of displaced households, the organization said, had no income in the past month.
According to the Ministry of Social Policy on April 9, the largest number of internally displaced persons was registered in the following oblasts: Vinnytsia (55,000), Lviv (50.5 thousand), Khmelnytsky (47.4 thousand), Poltava (46.1 thousand), Zakarpattia (44 thousand), Cherkasy (42 thousand).
