Ukraine Gate- Kyiv – May 18, 2022- According to reports issued by the Prosecutor General’s Office and as a result of the massive armed aggression by the Russian Federation, 229 children were killed and the number of wounded rose to 424.
As these numbers are not final, work is underway to fix them in the places of actual fighting in the occupied and temporarily liberated territories.
Children were also most affected in the following areas:
- Donetsk – 141
- Kyiv – 116
- Kharkiv – 100
- Chernihiv – 68
- Kherson – 48
- Luhansk – 47
- Mykolaiv – 44
- Zaporizhia – 28
- Sumy – 17
- in Kyiv – 16
- Zhytomyr – 15.
