The embroidered shirt that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky wore this year on Embroidery Day was sold at a charity auction in Washington for $ 100,000.

The auction took place on Friday, June 3, as part of the presentation of the United 24 program at the Ukrainian House in Washington.
The buyer of the lot was the American law firm Asters USA.
Proceeds will go to the accounts of the National Bank of Ukraine and will be used for defense, demining, medical care, reconstruction of the country.

In addition to Zelensky’s embroidered shirt, T-shirts by Artem Dovbyk and Andriy Yarmolenko, in which they competed during the winning match of the national team of Ukraine against the national team of Scotland on June 1, were sold at the auction.
They also bought a mug in the form of a rooster at the auction, similar to the one that survived on a locker in a residential building in Borodyanka, Kyiv region, which was shelled by the Russian occupiers.
