Ukraine Gate – Kyiv – June 25, 2022- Oleksandr Markushin published that the Portuguese company Cascais will allocate 500,000 euros to rebuild a kindergarten in the city of Irbin in the Kyiv region, and one of the companies in this new sister city Irbin has also offered to help restore the roof of an apartment building destroyed by the Russians.
According to the mayor, all this was made possible thanks to meetings and negotiations.
“We have made presentations to Cascais of the ruined social facilities and housing stock in Irbin prepared by the city’s investment board and have received great support,” Markushin emphasized.
He added that Cascais Mayor Carlos Carreras and representatives of the Portuguese plan to come to Irvine in September to discuss attracting more help to rebuild the city.
