Russian troops are shelling areas near the Russian border and the line of contact in the Kharkiv region, wounding one woman in the past day, and another man was blown up on a stretch. This was announced by the chairman of the Kharkiv OVA Oleg Sinegubov on Saturday, October 1, in Telegram .

During the past day, according to the head of the OVA, areas of settlements were shelled: Strelecha, Seloddub, Kuchkivka, Okhrymivka, Vilkhovatka, Biennial and others. Due to the hit of ammunition, fires occurred at an agro-industrial facility and in an apartment building.
“According to the regional Emergency Medical Center, during the day 2 people were hospitalized with injuries: a 53-year-old woman was injured in the Izyum district, and a 39-year-old man was blown up on a stretch in Kharkiv,” Sinegubov said.
Demining continues, pyrotechnic units of the State Emergency Service neutralized 816 explosive objects in the region during the day, he said.
“On the line of contact, our defenders continue to destroy the Russian occupiers. We believe in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ukraine will win!” – the head of the OVA emphasized.
