For his part, State Duma spokesman Vyacheslav Volodin said amendments in connection with the annexation of Ukrainian territories would be considered on Monday.
“On Monday, we will consider amending constitutional laws, as well as ratification of international treaties,… we will be engaged in the formation of a legal framework so that every citizen living in the territory of four new subjects feels protected, is in a single legal field both from the standpoint of social protection, and the financial system, and in the economic space,” volodin said.

According to RosSMI, Putin’s draft laws state that “by June 1, 2023, territorial bodies of federal executive bodies will be created in the new republics and regions, according to the draft laws”; “the monetary unit in the new subjects of the Russian Federation will be the ruble, until December 31, during the calculations, the circulation of the hryvnia will be allowed”; “the armed forces of the new Russian subjects are proposed to be included in the armed forces of the Russian Federation”.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba said that Ukraine had appealed to the International Court of Justice against the background of attempts to annex its territories by Russia.
