The US Department of the Interior said that as part of the rotation in Europe, the deployment of a new group of American destroyers equipped with the Aegis missile defense system has been completed .

The four destroyers (Arleigh Burke, Roosevelt, Paul Ignatius and Bulkeley) will now operate on a permanent basis from rota naval base in Spain.
Equipped with Tomahawk cruise missiles and Aegis missile defense system, together with Aegis ground-based missile defense bases in Poland and Romania, are part of the program to build a European phased adaptive missile defense system.
After the outbreak of war in eastern Ukraine, such American destroyers regularly entered the Black and Baltic Seas.

German soldiers completed joint exercises with Lithuanian troops. The “Fast Griffin” maneuver took place at the Gaijunai military training ground near the Rukla military base in Lithuania.
