President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy recorded a video message at the intersection of Volodymyrska Street and Shevchenko Boulevard in Kyiv, where the Russian military struck with a missile in the morning. In the course of the address, the Head of State informed on the resumption of electricity supplies in the regions of Ukraine subjected to missile and air strikes .

According to the President, restoration of facilities that were damaged by today’s strike of Russian terrorists is currently underway throughout the country.
“We will restore everything. It’s only a matter of time. I have set a task for all structures of our state to work out so that the recovery is as fast as possible,” Zelenskyy assured.
In some cities and regions where power supply was interrupted due to shelling, electricity has already been restored. As of this time:
Kharkiv region – energy supplies have been restored by 50%. Power engineers need several hours to restore electricity for most areas.
Poltava region – restored almost everywhere.
Mykolaiv, Zaporizhia, Odesa, Lviv regions are connected. In Khmelnytskyi , in most parts of the city there is light.
In some cities, in some districts, there is still work to be done to give people energy: Chernihiv, Sumy, Kyiv and Kyiv regions, Ternopil region, Dnipropetrovsk region.
“It takes hours somewhere, somewhere we have to wait a little longer, but the result will be everywhere,” the President said.

The General Staff said that the Russian occupiers carried out more than 84 missile and air strikes on peaceful cities of Ukraine during the day.
Forces and means of the Air Force, as well as the air defense of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, destroyed 56 air targets: 43 cruise missiles and 13 drones.
