Israel has refused to supply Ukraine with weapons and air defense systems “Iron Dome”, as this will become a “border crossing”. This was stated in an interview with “News of Israel” by the prime minister of the country Yair Lapid .

According to Lapid, Israel sided with Ukraine, and remains the first and only country to send a field hospital. The Prime Minister also added that the country proposes to provide civil warning systems for Ukraine. Israel also voted in the UN and condemned Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
However, the supply of weapons, in particular, the Iron Dome systems, will become a “border crossing”. Lapid notes that it is the duty of the Knesset to “take into account Israel’s national and defense interests. In this regard, very serious issues have to be resolved.”

Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba held talks with Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lapid. The parties discussed Ukraine’s request for Israel to provide air and missile defense systems and technologies.
Earlier, Israeli Defense Minister Beni Gantz said that his country would continue to provide medical and humanitarian assistance to Ukraine, but there was no question of military assistance.
