“Emergency power outages are taking place in Kyiv,” – reports on the website of DTEK Kyiv Electric Networks.
The same applies to Kyiv region: “Emergency power outages are occurring in the region,” – it is noted on the website of DTEK Kyiv Regional Electric Networks.
The companies emphasize that the schedules of stabilization shutdowns, which were made earlier, are currently not in effect in Kyiv and the region.
The day before, DTEK indicated that they are doing everything possible to supply light to every customer in Kyiv for 2-3 hours twice a day. And as soon as it will be possible to balance the situation – they will return to disconnection according to the schedules.

On November 23, the Russian army’s massive missile attack on Ukraine led to the temporary blackout of all nuclear power plants, most thermal and hydroelectric power plants. Electricity transmission facilities were also affected. There were power outages in many cities of Ukraine, including the capital.
In Kyiv , on November 28, 55% of homes remained in emergency power outages.
