On January 3, Russian troops shelled the Kherson region more than 70 times, two people were killed and five were injured. This was announced by the head of Kherson OVA Yaroslav Yanushevich in Telegram .

“Russian occupiers shelled the territory of Kherson Oblast 73 times. The Russians attacked the peaceful settlements of the region with artillery, MLRS, mortars and tanks. Kherson was attacked by the Russian army 11 times – they ransacked the residential quarters of the city,” Yanushevich wrote.
According to him, enemy shells hit the shipbuilding plant, gas pipeline, private and apartment buildings.
“Last day, 2 people were killed by the Russians, 5 residents of Kherson Region were injured of varying degrees of severity,” Yanushevich said.
