A number of thematic events and competitions for journalistic work within the media and educational campaign “What is the Equality Model?” The fight against sexual slavery, prostitution, and human trafficking started in Ukraine.

This was reported to the Democracy Development Center, which is the organizer of the campaign in cooperation with the General Council of the Multinational Force and Observers, “Equal Opportunities”.
As part of the first phase of the media campaign, an online event entitled “Exiting Violence: The Experience of Women Hookers” was held on 26 March with the participation of women subjected to sexual exploitation, researchers and social workers from different countries (Britain, Israel, Sweden, Ireland, USA, Ukraine), where the equality model has already been introduced. Talk about the obstacles to getting out of prostitution and how social services and NGOs can help women in this situation.
As noted, from the first event until the end of May, press materials are accepted for the competition to get the best coverage of the equality model.
It is reported that on April 8 there will be an “Equality and Law Enforcement Model” event, where police officers from different countries (Sweden, France, Canada, Israel), where the Equality Model has already been presented, will talk about how they work with vulnerable women and how they interact in this work with Social services and shelters.
On April 15th, an expert discussion will be held entitled “Legislation, Best Practices for Implementing the Equality Model”, during which foreign experts and parliamentarians will share their experiences working on relevant bills in their countries (Sweden, France, Ireland, Canada, Latvia, Britain, and Israel).
