Kiev. Ukraine. Ukraine Gate – April 02, 2021 – Ukraine News
“The district election commission of №87 district (Nadvirna city) declared voting at polling station №261030 invalid. In the morning of April 2, the commission declared invalid the results of voting at polling station №261027 due to the lack of seals on checklists in large ballot boxes,” OPORA said.
According to OPORA, at the №261030 polling station, voting was declared invalid after the district election commission counted the ballots at the polling station where 377 votes for Oleksandr Shevchenko were counted. DEC members recounted the ballots for Shevchenko, which turned out to be 277.
Some DEC members accused a Servant of the People member of stealing the ballots, but an inspection of the OPORA stream showed that commission members counted 277 ballots but named 377 after looking at the numbers in the minutes.
Police were called to DECs. Militiamen carry out investigative actions.
In addition, the commission found that 30 voters had been illegally removed from the voter register. The commission found that the number of unjustifiably issued ballots exceeded 5% of the number of voters who received ballots.
Earlier, DECs began counting votes at 20 polling stations. As of 8 a.m., according to OPORA observers, ballots were counted at 5 polling stations.
After the vote count in the constituency on March 30 was “stuck” by 67%, deputies from the “Servant of the People” went to the Ivano-Frankivsk region to clarify the situation.
According to the OPORA Public Network, the work of DEC № 87 after the resumption of the March 31 sitting was accompanied by repeated breaks, some illegal decisions of the commission, conflicts between it and the candidate Oleksandr Shevchenko, and interference of deputies in the legal course of the DEC meeting.
At present, there are less than 10% left in the 87th constituency, and Virastyuk is less than a thousand votes ahead of Shevchenko.
Thus, on March 28, people’s deputies were elected in Donetsk (constituency № 50) and Ivano-Frankivsk (constituency № 87) oblasts. According to the CEC, according to DECs, turnout in the by-elections in constituency № 87 was 35.05%. For comparison: in the early elections of people’s deputies on July 21, 2019, 43.96% voted in OBO № 87. The results of the voting should be established by April 12, 2021.
