The Ukrainian weightlifting team won the first gold medal at the European Championships in Moscow.

Kamila Konotop won the title of European champion among women in weightlifting up to 55 kg. In the jerk, the Ukrainian showed a maximum result of 95 kilograms (five more than the nearest pursuer). And in the push – 113 kilograms (one more than the second place). Konotop’s result in the sum of the duel is 208 kilograms, which is 8 more than the silver medalist.
In addition, we note that the bronze award was won by Ukrainian Dmytro Voronovsky weighing up to 55 kg.
Konoto is a three-time winner of the Euro among juniors – “bronze” in 2016 (53 kg), “silver” in 2018 (53 kg), “gold” in 2019 (55 kg).
