On the left bank, traffic is difficult on Brovarsky Avenue, Yuri Gagarin Avenue, and Mykola Bazhan, Vyzvolyteliv, Sobornosti, Roman Shukhevych, and Darnytskyi Avenues.
The situation on the bridges – Darnytskyi, Pivnichnyi, and Paton – is difficult in the direction of the right bank. On the Metro Bridge and the South Bridge, there is a slight complication of traffic in the direction of the right bank.
The introduction of strict quarantine restrictions on April 5 and admission to public transport for special passes, including the subway, created a transport collapse on the first day of the lockdown in Kyiv. People who did not receive their special passes could not get to work or home. This situation has caused a significant demand for taxi services and rising travel prices. Also on the first day of the lockdown in the capital, the demand for bicycle rental increased.
