When the seedlings become stronger and grow at least 6 true leaves, you need to carry out the formation. Use your finger or scissors to remove all stepsons and small ovaries of cucumbers up to 5 leaves inclusive! Stepchildren – small leaves that form between the true leaves, usually next to the ovary – the future small cucumber.
Starting with 6 leaves, you can leave a small ovary of cucumber.
Also, remove the tendrils – at this stage, they are absolutely not needed by the plant, but also take away its nutrition and strength. If you carry out this procedure before planting in the ground, the cucumber plant will give a more abundant harvest than usual, because the plant will be strong and strong.
