Ukraine won a ticket to Tokyo 2020 in the European Olympic qualification in rowing, which took place in Varese (Italy).

The men’s doubles Igor Khmara and Stanislav Kovalyov finished the race of the final “A” in the first place, as well as the qualifying, and won a pass at the Tokyo 2020 Games.
Diana Dymchenko, who qualified for the final “A” with the third result, came second in the race for the ticket.
Note that nominally, Ukraine had to get two tickets, but according to the selection rules, in order to obtain two licenses for one country, you must win both races. Otherwise, the ticket goes to the discipline in which you finished above.
The last opportunity for our athletes to get to the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo will be at the world qualifying tournament, which will be held from 16 to 18 May in the Swiss city of Lucerne.
