This is the third museum closure since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic. Tourists will be able to visit the Vatican Gardens again.
There will be strict security rules, which visitors must carefully follow, the first of which is mandatory pre-registration on the same site. In the current situation, the additional payment for this service, which amounted to 4 euros and in normal circumstances allowed visitors to view the exhibition without standing in line at the box office, was abolished.
The next step required of visitors is punctuality. Arrival at appropriate intervals is a guarantee to prevent crowds. Body temperature measurement is mandatory at the entrance, and if it is 37.5 ° C or more, entry will not be allowed.
It is mandatory to wear a properly worn protective mask and keep a distance of one meter between visitors.
