“We do not have a specific date for the start of the sightseeing season – we will start this year from the second decade of April because at the moment the flow of tourists has intensified,” said Oleg Matyukhov, director of tram transportation at Vinnytsia Transportation. By prior arrangement, we produce four old trams and carriages on the line, and it is very easy to get to know Vinnytsia. Matyukhov said that if people request it, we will provide a tour guide.
According to him, Vinnytsia residents and city guests can choose the ancient means of transportation, which will travel through the city. The journey can take place on the city tour excursion tram, an old Gotha T57 tramway made in the 1950s, or you can take a 40-meter “train” tramway from Vinnytsia from the Swiss Mirage and Blinde Kuh (“Blind Cow”) wagons. You can also choose the ZiU-5 travel cart, made in the 1970s.
Matyukhov noted that tour customers can choose for themselves which route they will be transported to on the old transport means. Moreover, they can be not only group excursions, but also individual excursions. Its cost is the same, from 1950 UAH per hour. The only condition – prior reservation of the flight and compliance with quarantine restrictions.
