The first-ever FIFA 21 cyber-sports match between Dynamo and Shakhtar will take place at the Olimpiysky National Sports Complex in Kyiv.

The cyber “classic” will start at 14:00 on April 17 and will take place on the eve of the matches of the main teams of the UPL.
The main characters of the exhibition matches will be professional cyber-athletes, one of the best in the discipline “FIFA21”. Shakhtar will be represented by Oleksiy “Forlan FS” Mercer, Dynamo will be represented by Vitaliy “Labotryas” Mukha.
The participants will play a series of matches to two victories of one of the parties, playing for cyber-football analogs of Shakhtar and Dynamo.
It should be noted that last year Dynamo Kyiv footballers Denis Kuzyk, Denis Popov, Oleksandr Andrievsky, Volodymyr Brazhko, Benito, Kyrylo Popov, and Ibrahim Kargbo took part in the Dynamo Kyiv Friendly Cup e-sports tournament, which was won by Vitaliy Mukha.
For Shakhtar, holding such a match is a step forward in finding new options for communicating with the audience. We consider e-sports to be a promising area that not only attracts participants but also becomes one of the types of full-fledged entertainment content for viewers, allows it to be monetized. The exhibition match will assess the audience’s reaction to the new content format and decide in which direction the clubs should move forward. Maybe it will be the creation of a full-fledged cyber football league? ”Dmytro Kyrylenko, Shakhtar’s commercial director, emphasized.
The main match between the teams starts at 19:30. Dynamo leads the UPL standings, seven points ahead of the Pitmen.
The cyber football team of Ukraine drew a match with the winner of the qualification for eEURO-2020.
