National University “Astroh Academy”
It is one of the oldest educational institutions in Europe and the oldest in Ukraine.
It was founded in 1576, and at that time the academy was very progressive: 5 foreign languages were studied: ecclesiastical, Polish, Greek, ancient Hebrew, and Latin.

As well as more than 10 majors. They are grammar, dialectics, rhetoric, arithmetic, mathematical geometry, music, astronomy, philosophy, theology, and medicine.
The Academy had a powerful printing house, with the publication of the Greek-Slavic “Primer” – the first Ukrainian textbook (1578) and the first complete Slavic book “Ostro the Bible” (1581).
As for its educational structure today, it includes the following colleges:
College of Human Sciences, College of Romanian and Germanic Languages, College of Economics, College of Politics and Informatics Management, and College of International Relations.
