According to the message of the Minister of Health of Ukraine Maxim Stepanov, the latest news of Covid-19 in Ukraine, 1.9 million cases of coronavirus COVID-19 have already been recorded, an increase of 24.4 thousand per day on April 14, the highest figure since the beginning of the week. The high rate of fatalities per day is 433. There are slightly fewer hospitalizations than yesterday, but still more than 4,000.

In Ukraine, 16,427 new cases of COVID-19 coronavirus were detected in one day. In particular, 628 children and 383 medical workers fell ill.

According to him and the latest updates, 4,229 people were hospitalized during the day; 433 fatalities were recorded; 11,148 people recovered; conducted tests for the day – 119 615 (including PCR – 51 344, ELISA – 20 017, studies by rapid tests for the antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 48 254).

During the whole pandemic in Ukraine, latest update:

fell ill – 1,903,765 people;

1 453 766 people recovered;

fatalities – 38,658;

8,822,097 PCR tests were performed.

Over the last 24 hours, the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in Kyiv (1,625), Kharkiv (1,168), Khmelnytsky (1,088), Zaporizhia (1,015), and Dnipropetrovsk (1,005) oblasts.

In addition, according to Stepanov, 15,744 people were vaccinated against COVID-19 on April 14. 419,297 people have been vaccinated since the beginning of the vaccination campaign, 419,295 of them received 1 dose, 5 people completed the vaccination (received 2 doses) (2 of them received 1 dose abroad).
