12,075 Patients of COVID-19 Recovered In Ukraine

Over the past 24hrs, 12,075 patients recovered, the coronavirus in Ukraine was detected in 8940 people, including 414 children and 251 health workers. 367 deaths were recorded. 2,042 people were admitted to hospitals with suspected or diagnosed COVID-19, according to the message of the Minister of Health of Ukraine Maxim Stepanov.

The number of those who recovered exceeded the number of patients for the first time since April 13.

Most new cases were recorded in Kyiv (892), Kharkiv (804), Poltava (725), Odesa (691), and Kyiv (647) oblasts.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, we have detected 1,961,956 patients of COVID-19, of which 1,499,752 people have recovered and 40,367 have died from complications.

Coronavirus test in Ukraine

On April 19, the laboratories performed 77,678 tests for coronavirus: 37,557 by PCR and 16,815 by ELISA. They also performed 23,306 rapid tests for virus antigen.

Almost 9 million PCR tests have been conducted in Ukraine so far.

Vaccination against coronavirus in Ukraine

12,144 people were vaccinated against coronavirus yesterday. Since the beginning of the vaccination campaign, 462,791 people have been vaccinated, of which 462,789 have received 1 dose, and 5 people have completed vaccination (received 2 doses) (2 of them received 1 dose abroad).

According to Worldometer, a resource that monitors the situation with the coronavirus in the world, Ukraine ranks 16th in distribution and 18th in the number of deaths from COVID-19.
