Kyiv authorities have decided which lawyers are allowed to use public transport during the lockdown on their IDs and without special passes.

Bondarenko’s direct speech: “I am convinced that even during the lockdown, the movement of lawyers through the capital should be as simple as possible in order to properly protect the rights, freedoms, and interests of our fellow citizens.”
Why this is important: In the early days of strict quarantine, there were cases where people could not get to work due to a lack of passes.
In particular, the President’s Office criticized the city authorities and reported, citing reports, that some medical workers were left without special passes.
Compliance with quarantine restrictions on public transport is monitored by police and municipal guards.
The Department of Transport Infrastructure of the Kyiv City State Administration has already issued almost 500,000 special passes for public transport in the capital.
