According to the agency, Facebook has announced that in the next few months it intends to launch a number of new audio products in the application. He called one of such implementations an analog of the popular Clubhouse application. The company is developing audio rooms for communication. They plan to launch by the summer of 2021. Later they will be available in the messenger.
In addition, the corporation wants to add Soundbites to the audio publishing service – a tool that will allow you to record short audio recordings and share them on your Facebook profile. The beginning of testing of the service is scheduled for the next month.
Zuckerberg also announced the creation of a podcast platform. Facebook plans to launch its own service with podcasts, which can be listened to not only while using the service but also in the background. The launch is expected to take place in the next few months.
