Ukraine gate- Kiev 21 April 2021 12,162 cases of coronavirus infection were recorded in Ukraine on Wednesday, April 21, according to Health Minister Maxim Stepanov.
The head of the Ministry of Health wrote: “12,162 new cases of Coronavirus were recorded in Ukraine as of April 21, 2021. In particular, 532 children and 326 health workers were infected with the disease.”
He pointed out that 4,411 people were taken to the hospital the previous day, while 14,720 people recovered. And 429 deaths were recorded. 109,007 daily tests were also performed, including PCR – 46,746, ELISA – 17235, tests with rapid antigen tests for SARS-CoV-2 – 45,026.
“During the past day, the largest number of confirmed cases were recorded in Kiev (965), Kharkiv (938), Kiev (881), Zaporizhia (845) and Dnipropetrovsk (771),” Stepanov said.
According to the minister, a total of 1,974,118 people have been infected with the Coronavirus since the beginning of the epidemic in Ukraine, of whom 40,796 have died and 1514,472 people have recovered.
5,042 people were vaccinated against Corona on April 20, 2021 in Ukraine.
477,833 people have been vaccinated since the start of the vaccination campaign, 477,831 of them received one dose, and 5 people completed the vaccination (received two doses) – two of them received one dose abroad.
