Lithuanian authorities are discussing the possibility of expelling employees of the Russian Embassy in Vilnius in solidarity with the Czech Republic. The adviser to the president of the republic Asta Skysgirite reported about it.

“We are currently discussing with our allies through diplomatic channels how best to express solidarity with Prague. The President (of Lithuania, Gitanas Nauseda) fully supports the actions of the Czech Republic, ”she said.
Last week, Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis expressed support for Prague, which has sent 18 employees of the Russian embassy in Prague, who, according to the Czech side, are Russian intelligence officers. The Russian Foreign Ministry has strongly protested in Prague in connection with the step taken “under unsubstantiated and contrived pretexts”, and also declared 20 employees of the Czech Embassy in Moscow non grata.
According to the media, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic Jakub Kulganek – the Czech Republic may send from Prague “about 60” employees of the Russian Embassy, if Russia by 12:00 (13:00 Kyiv time) on Thursday does not decide to return to Moscow declared non grata employees Czech diplomatic mission.
