The increase in Russian forces along the borders in recent weeks has resulted in a flare of tensions in eastern Ukraine, speculation and European-American discontent over these unjustified moves that threaten the security and safety of Ukraine on the one hand and Europe on the other hand, while the areas near which the Russian forces have deployed are witnessing fighting between the forces. Ukrainian and Russian-backed separatists rebelled against the mother state of Ukraine.
The head of the President’s office, Andrei Yermak, confirmed that the withdrawal of Russian forces from the border with Ukraine resulted from the West’s support for Ukraine.
“I am completely convinced that this news is the result of the work of the president and his team, and of course the support of our partners, with whom we speak with one voice today with Russia,” Armak said.
At the same time, he was criticized by opponents of the government, stressing that the facts and results of the work are what speak of the reality achieved by the state’s policy.
Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoygu has instructed the General Staff of the Russian Federation and troop commanders as of April 23 to begin returning to the permanent deployment sites of forces, which were recently transferred to the borders of Ukraine.
In a comment by the Russian Defense Minister, Sergey Shoygu, Thursday, before the withdrawal of Russian forces from the Ukrainian border, he said: The Russian forces have successfully completed exercises near Ukraine and will fully return to their permanent bases by the first of May.
“I think that the surprising training objectives have been fully achieved, and the forces have demonstrated the ability and high readiness to achieve a deterrent defense of the country,” Shoigu said at a meeting in Crimea, which has been occupied since 2014.
