Prime Minister Denis Shmygal instructed the relevant agencies to study the possibility of increasing regular and charter flights between Ukraine and Turkey and to consider ways to simplify the system of visiting Ukraine by vaccinated Turkish citizens.

According to the press service of the government, Shmygal gave such an instruction following a meeting on the development of bilateral cooperation with Turkey in the field of tourism.
The Prime Minister stressed the need to develop ways to intensify mutually beneficial cooperation with Turkey in the field of tourism, in particular, to expand sea and air services.
“Ukrainians are on the list of the most numerous tourists in Turkey, and the geography of their holiday is constantly expanding. Therefore, we must consider expanding the message, including organizing additional flights on popular routes over the weekend, as well as open messages with new cities,” Shmygal was quoted as saying. -service.
The Prime Minister also noted that favorable conditions should be developed to attract tourists from the Republic of Turkey to Ukraine.
“In addition to large cities, it is worth considering the possibility of developing destinations in health resorts that will be interesting for travel with the whole family,” he said.
The participants also discussed the possibility of mutual recognition by Ukraine and Turkey of future health certificates being developed in the European Union. According to the Prime Minister, this will help significantly increase the flow of tourists between states during the pandemic.
In early April, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan agreed to analyze all controversial issues on the way to signing a Free Trade Agreement between the two countries.
