Famous fashion designer Albert Elbaz died in Paris at the age of 59.
According to Haaretz, the fashion designer died at the hospital on Saturday, April 24, after spending several days in a coma. The cause of death, the publication says complications from the coronavirus.

Who is Albert Elbaz
Albert Elbaz was born on February 6, 1961, in Morocco to a Jewish family. At the age of 10, he emigrated with his family to Israel. In 1985, Albert Elbaz moved to New York.
In the mid-1990s, Elbaz worked at the fashion house Guy Laroche, and in 1998 he became the creative director of Yves Sent Laurent. From 2001 to 2015, he headed one of the oldest fashion houses in France, Lanvin. Leaving Lanvin due to disagreements with the new management of the house, Albert Elbaz began to work with Converse, LeSportsac, and other companies. In January 2021, the designer launched his own brand AZ Factory.
For his work in the world of fashion, he was awarded the Order of the Legion of Honor.
