Capitol police in charge of the security of the US Congress complex detained a 22-year-old man while trying to enter a fenced area. This was reported on Monday on the page of law enforcement agencies on Twitter.

“A man was detained today (Sunday) in the afternoon for entering a fenced area … The suspect, 22-year-old Mark Boshamp from Virginia, was immediately stopped by several police officers and detained for illegal intrusion,” the statement said.
It is noted that the man’s car was found near the memorial in honor of Abraham Lincoln, where parking is prohibited. The incident is being investigated.
