The Ministry of Education has informed that the implementation of the proposed proposal to create an additional allowance for all workers in educational institutions in the amount of 50% of the salary for working in hazardous conditions and increasing health risks will require significant additional costs from the state and local Budgets.
The Ministry of Education said, “According to the Ministry of Finance, these expenditures in the state and local budgets for 2021 are not taken into consideration.”
At the same time, the department confirmed that the heads of institutions within the salary fund approved in the income and spending estimates have the right to determine these additional fees and salary supplements.
“In particular, employees of educational institutions, including non-educational institutions, can be compensated by the head of the institution to compensate them for working in hazardous working conditions and increase the risks to health due to the complexity and intensity of the work of up to 50 percent of the salary (wage rates, rates Tariff) ”.
In addition, the Ministry of Education and Science reported that the administration appealed to the departments of education and science in the provincial and Kyiv city government departments with a recommendation to direct the balances of educational subsidies that were formed in local budgets to ensure distance learning and teacher rewards.
