8,549 COVID-19 Infected People Were Found In One Day

For the past 24hrs, on April 30, 8549 new cases-19 were detected in Ukraine, 351 patients died, 14 956 people recovered.

In Ukraine, 2.078 million cases of coronavirus COVID-19 have already been recorded, an increase of 8549 thousand per day on April 30, which is less than the day before. There are more people who have recovered in a day than patients. This was reported by the Minister of Health Maxim Stepanov on Facebook.

Among the new patients – 374 children and 145 nurses.

During the day, 83,336 tests were performed, including PCR-37,455, ELISA 13,016, and rapid SARS-CoV-2 antigen tests 32,865.

Over the last 24 hours, the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in Dnipropetrovsk (745), Kharkiv (730) oblasts, Kyiv (671), Donetsk (570), and Cherkasy (537) oblasts.

On April 30, 49,985 people were vaccinated against COVID-19.

Since the beginning of the vaccination campaign, 752,295 people have been vaccinated, of which 752,293 have received 1 dose, and 260 people have completed vaccination (received 2 doses) (2 of them have received 1 dose abroad).

According to Worldometer, a resource that monitors the situation with the coronavirus in the world, Ukraine ranks 16th in distribution and 18th in the number of deaths from COVID-19.
