It is noted that the company is preparing to launch a new collection of Pandora Brilliance, scheduled for 2022. The manufacturers note that its feature is that it will be an “environmentally friendly product” created in the laboratory.
“Diamonds created in the laboratory are grown using an average of more than 60% of renewable energy sources, and greenhouse gas emissions from non-renewable energy sources are offset by CarbonNeutral certification,” the statement said.
The brand plans to move to the production of diamonds using 100% renewable energy sources.
Initially, Pandora will sell rhinestone jewelry only in the UK, then in other markets. The cost of jewelry with grown diamonds starts from 250 pounds (350 US dollars), each stone – from 0.15 to one carat.
In Geneva, Switzerland, a pink diamond “Ghost of a Rose” was sold at Sotheby’s auction for a record $ 26.6 million for this type of gemstone.
