Due to the train collapse in the Lviv region, Ukrzaliznytsia changed the movement of the train № 701/702 Lviv – Chernivtsi. The agency hopes that the decision will help unload the roads.
Kyiv. Ukraine. Ukraine Gate – May 6, 2021 – Transportation
From May 6, the train № 701/702 Lviv – Chernivtsi will run to Lutsk. This will help unburden highways and reduce congestion caused by the collapse of a road bridge in the village of Hayok on the Lviv-Lutsk highway, Ukrzaliznytsia said.
It is estimated that road workers will need a month to build a temporary ferry. The company hopes that the change in train traffic will help unload highways and reduce congestion that has formed after the collapse of the bridge.
