Use powder
Paint the lashes and immediately, without allowing the mascara to dry, apply the powder on the lashes with a fluffy brush. Now apply a second layer of mascara. This life hack helps to achieve the effect of thick eyelashes but is suitable only for those who have them long enough, otherwise, you risk getting thick “stumps”.
Play in two colors
But this trick will work for everyone: apply a layer of black mascara on the lashes, then – colored (or brown if you are a brunette) and black again. The colored pigment will see through the black and create the effect of more voluminous lashes.
Circle the space between the lashes
This is not the most pleasant procedure, but it works: type on a thick brush gel eyeliner or take a stable pencil and tightly shade the roots of the lashes. Due to lack of habit, the eyes may water, so it is better than the eyeliner was waterproof. Try to paint a strip of mucous, then the effect will be more obvious. Then paint the lashes with mascara, as usual.
Start from the end
Apply mascara first on the tips of the lashes, let it dry, and then paint the entire length. Thickening at the tips optically creates the effect of thicker lashes.
Move-in zigzags
When coloring eyelashes, do not just brush the mascara from roots to tips, and make small oscillating movements left and right. Thus, each eyelash will get more coloring pigments.
Draw an arrow
Without drawing the line of eyelash growth, draw an arrow in the outer corner of the eye, drawing it a millimeter or two around the corner. Surprisingly, this maneuver visually lengthens the lashes!
