It is noted that investigators from the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) came to his residence at 6:00 am on May 13.
The search is being conducted in the presence of Tupytsky, his wife, two young children, and a lawyer.
“According to Part 1 of Art. 234 of the CPC of Ukraine search is carried out in order to identify information about the circumstances of a criminal offense, finding a tool of a criminal offense or property obtained as a result of its commission, as well as to identify wanted persons, “- said in a ruling Pechersk court.
However, the decision does not provide the content of the evidence, as the petition is limited to the secrecy of the pre-trial investigation. It is noted that the court hearing at which the decision on searches was made was held behind closed doors in accordance with the CPC of Ukraine.
On March 27, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky revoked Viktor Yanukovych’s decrees appointing Oleksandr Tupytsky and Oleksandr Kasminin judges of the Constitutional Court.
The president’s representative in the CCU, People’s Deputy Fedor Venislavsky, called the head of state’s decision absolutely correct and natural.
According to Zelensky himself, the decree was signed as a result of an audit of Yanukovych’s decisions, which could potentially harm the country’s national security.
On March 29, the Administrative Court of Cassation of the Supreme Court received lawsuits to appeal the presidential decree.
