“According to the updated information of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey, from May 15, 2021, Turkey abolishes the requirement to present a negative PCR test when entering the country for citizens of 16 countries, including from Ukraine, ”the statement reads.
Turkey has introduced a full lockdown due to a sharp increase in the incidence of COVID-19. Restrictions will run from the evening of April 29 to May 17. Schools are transferring to distance learning. Activities in offices and enterprises are prohibited, with the exception of food, cleaning services, the health sector, and industrial production. Residents are allowed to leave the house only for good reasons, in particular, for food. Cafes and restaurants will work only for takeaway, supermarkets will not serve customers on Sundays.
There are currently 5,095,390 cases of coronavirus in Turkey, with 44,301 people killed during the pandemic.
