Sony is preparing a new compact smartphone, which, importantly, will not belong to the flagship model line Xperia Compact. The model will be released under the name Xperia Ace 2 and will be one of the most compact, if not the most compact among the mid-range smartphones of 2021.

Renders of this smartphone have already appeared on the Internet. Of course, they do not allow you to fully estimate the dimensions, but in relation to the width of the display to the body and the size of the camera unit, it is easy to understand that the smartphone is quite compact. Also, according to data sources, the diagonal of its display should be 5.5 inches, which is a bit by modern standards.
Renderers also allow you to see that the smartphone will be equipped with a side fingerprint scanner, dual main camera, and an additional button on the side, which, obviously, can be customized to your needs. In addition, on top of the smartphone will be a 3.5-millimeter jack for connecting headphones.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 690G chipset will be responsible for the operation of the Sony Xperia Ace 2, the other characteristics, unfortunately, remain unknown. There is a possibility that the model will be exclusive to the Japanese market, but it is possible to present it on the international market.
