On May 18, 2021, People’s Deputies gathered at an extraordinary meeting of the Verkhovna Rada, at which they decided to dismiss three ministers.

In particular, the head of the Ministry of Health Maxim Stepanov, the head of the Ministry of Infrastructure Vladislav Krikliy, and the head of the Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture Igor Petrashko were dismissed.
It is reported that on May 14, 2021, BP accepted a document from Petrashko with a request to dismiss him from the post of his own free will. The next day, May 15, Krykliy also submitted his letter of resignation from office. And Stepanov’s resignation was initiated by Prime Minister Denys Shmygal on May 17, mainly due to the failure of the coronavirus vaccination campaign.
284 people’s deputies voted for the dismissal of the minister of infrastructure, 280 people’s deputies supported the proposal to resign the minister of economy, and 292 people’s deputies supported the minister of health.
New heads of ministries can be elected on May 20, 2021. The Servant of the People party proposes the following candidates:
Viktor Lyashko, Chief State Sanitary Doctor, for the post of Minister of Health ;
Oleksandr Kubrakov, Ukrainian entrepreneur, expert of the IT market and the mobile communications market, the current chairman of Ukravtodor, as the new Minister of Infrastructure ;
Oleksiy Lyubchenko, head of the State Tax Service of Ukraine, for the post of Minister of Economy.
