Events dedicated to the Day of Remembrance of Ukrainians who saved Jews from death in World War II were held in different cities and villages of Ukraine.

Thus, in Odesa, a ceremony was held in memory of the Righteous Among the Nations, and in Kyiv, a ceremony was held for the opening of a symbolic synagogue in Babi Yar.
A round table was held in the Lviv Regional State Administration for this memorable day, at which officials, historians, and representatives of Jewish and Ukrainian culture celebrated the feat of the Righteous Among the Nations. In addition, the director of the Museum of the History of Religion, Orest Malets, shared that they plan to open the Museum of the Holocaust in the Lviv underground.
Representatives of the authorities of the city community of Khmelnyk and Khmelnytsky district (Vinnytsia region), as well as local residents, caring Khmelnytsky residents laid flowers and spent a minute of silence in the Memorial Square and in the Memorial Park.
The director of the Holocaust Museum in Vinnytsia took part in the unveiling of a memorial plaque to Jewish photographer Yakov Davidzon and also said that more than five hundred residents of the Vinnytsia region have the title of Righteous Among the Nations, in particular, in Vinnytsia – fifty Righteous. Since this is 18% of the total number of rescuing Jews in Ukraine, therefore, the largest number of people who have been awarded this title live in Vinnytsia.
In Busk, the library staff held a lesson in historical memory for high school students entitled “Humanity in the Abyss of Hell.” In addition to the lecture, eyewitnesses of the Holocaust and descendants of Ukrainians who saved Jews from the Nazis told their stories at the event.
In Bakhmut (Donetsk region) Svetlana Kravchenko, the granddaughter of Natalia Kravchenko, who received the Righteous Among the Nations medal, shared her memories and showed the award to her heroic relative.
The feat of the Righteous Among the Nations was celebrated in the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration, and the director of the Holocaust Museum in Dnipro, Igor Shchupak, recalled that in the Dnipropetrovsk region there are 14 streets named after the Righteous, which is the largest number in the world.
During World War II, ordinary residents of the Dnipropetrovsk region showed real heroism. Risking their own lives, they saved people of other nationalities from death. They showed incredible courage and kindness. This is really exciting! We must remember.

In Kropyvnytskyi, they honored the memory of the Ukrainians who rescued Jews in World War II. The commemorative event was attended by the head of the Jewish community of the city, Efim Marmer, assistant to the mayor of Kropyvnytskyi Yevgeny Shuster, who, in addition to flowers, brought stones to the monument to the Jewish victims of Nazism, as well as historian Vasily Datsenko.
In the Zhytomyr region (the village of Maloselka, Berdichevsky district), flowers were also laid at the site of the mass execution of Jews from the village of Palatka. Local residents shared their memories of the shootings and the rescue of the Jewish girl Klara.
